HQ - Politics in Turkey
Is the President of Turkey, Recep Edrogan, rising to be an authoritarian leader? Also, what nationalistic factors have contributed to the contemporary state of Turkey?
Your question is very well written and it is not too broad, although I would also add in political and social factors along with nationalistic factors that contribute to contemporary Turkey.
The question is written very well, however, the nationalistic factors could possibly be specified to narrow down the topic. I might also include what those nationalistic factors have done and in what ways have they affected contemporary Turkey.
Interesting question. It will be helpful to consolidate these ideas into one complex question to help direct your research. On another note, in a speech last week, Erdogan asserted that Muslims had discovered America prior to Columbus. This may be something you can use to characterize Erdogan and to explore nationalism in contemporary Turkey.
