HQ - Dictatorship in North Korea
How has North Korea been able to maintain totalitarianism and isolationism in this contemporary society that is becoming more globally interconnected?
Good question. The question is sort of a mouthful though, you sort of start the sentence off in the past tense and end with present tense. Ex: "has been" -> "becoming". It is a little wordy near the end too, "in this contemporary society that is becoming more globally interconnected". The topic is broad enough to contain political, social, historical, and economic factors and I think you'll be able to answer this question in the time available. This is a really cool topic and will probably be very interesting to write about!
I think this is a very clear question. You narrowed it down to write about specifically totalitarianism and isolationism. This will allow you to include many supporting details that you can provide in the allotted time. I agree with Jennifer that you should make clear of what tense you are basing your question on.

ReplyDeleteAn important issue... Why is this issue of global concern?
